TRULY STAGGERING NEWS.....
In the 2015 New Years Honours List I am astonished and very humbled by the fact that I have been awarded an MBE for Services to Music.
Oh boy, was that unexpected ! I love my job, I do the best job I can, and I teach in the way that I was taught. I learnt that caring about your students was the supreme ingredient in the recipe for success, and that passion came in a close second. I have been so privileged in my working life to meet and work with the loveliest of people from every walk of life, and all ages. They have taught me more than I have taught them I feel sure. Thank you all.
